Elizabethan Library

Yale's Elizabethan Library, originally built c. 1810, possesses an extraordinary collection of original Shakespearean texts and rare manuscripts. The Federal-style building needed extensive restoration and structural rehabilitation. In addition to repairs, we designed a large garden-room addition to the library.

This is how things looked before our work started.
