Guilford, CT Residential Addition

A raised ranch is dramatically transformed into a two-story, shingle-clad Guilford House with views to Long Island Sound

This extensive addition nearly tripled the size of the original house, located in Guilford, Connecticut. New spaces included an entrance foyer with stairs, dining room, great room, master bedroom suite with master bath, guest bedroom, bathroom, and walk-up attic.

Existing vinyl siding was removed and replaced with pre-weathered shingles, creating a more vernacular, shoreline style.
