Architectural Job Captain 2023

We are currently looking to add a Senior Architectural Designer to the architectural staff. The available position is for applicants with 2-3 years’ experience and is for full-time hours.

Responsibilities will include, with supervision from a project manager, but are not limited to:

  • Developing hardline computer drafted drawings based on sketches provided by the principal.
  • Collaborating with principal or project manager in the development of design solutions for various project types.
  • Completing drafting projects accurately based on written or verbal direction by principal or project manager.
  • Proactively asking questions and/or clarifying direction to produce work correctly the first time.
  • Creating photorealistic renderings to express design ideas to project stakeholders.
  • Assisting in creation of various materials for client presentations.
  • Accurately measuring and drawing field survey work in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Producing design and construction documents.
  • Regularly reporting project progress and status to PM.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture with 2-3 years’ experience working in an Architectural office or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit, including use of all 3D modeling tools and 2D detailing. A working knowledge of AutoCAD is also important.
  • Some experience in technical construction detailing a must.
  • Photoshop / Adobe Creative Suite skills are a plus.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
